Shark Fishing in Full Swing in the Fall

While our many different fishing charters have shown great success in this Fall season, none has been more successful than that of our shark fishing charters. The anglers on these charters have brought in a myriad of breathtaking sharks that amazed even us. Despite the fact that the fall season has yet to be around that long, it's clear that shark fishing is already in full swing here in the warm waters of Key West. In fact, the picture that accompanies this report displays a beautiful Lemon Shark that was caught just recently and weighed in at 120-150 pounds.

The weather for Key West shark fishing has been absolutely fantastic the entire fall. The perfect blend of sunshine and more rainy weather conditions has worked well to create amazing opportunities for shark fishing throughout the fall season. Many species of shark in Key West, including the powerful Lemon Shark, prefer swimming in shallow, warm waters, which is why Key West is such a good destination for shark fishing. When you're on one of our Key West shark fishing charters, you will find that the captain of the boat will provide many fantastic tips and pointers that will aid you when fishing for sharks. He will also take the boat to the best spots for shark fishing, providing you with a prime opportunity to catch a shark.

Though Lemon Sharks have been in abundance this fall within the teaming waters of Key West, there are many other species of sharks that have made Key West their home and have been caught very recently. Some of the most common sharks in the area include Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks and Tiger Sharks, as well as Dusky Sharks and Black Tip Sharks. In fact, the tough and agile Nurse Shark has also been spotted out on our charters and would prove an amazing feat for anyone that could actually keep their wits about them enough to reel one in. There have already been so many catches this Fall season due to the fact that many anglers who have joined us on our shark fishing charters have been patient and strong enough to haul one in even after the first bite on the bait.

Overall, it's just been an extraordinarily fun month for everyone involved in with our shark fishing charters, from visiting anglers to the staff and captains themselves. The weather has been great for most of the Fall and with the temperatures fluctuating at low to mid 80's for much of the time, the water is at the perfect temperature for anglers that are looking to catch a shark or two. If you're an angler that has never experienced shark fishing before or are an experienced one that simply wishes to fish for sharks a few more times before the Winter hits, this Fall season is shaping up to be one of the best in recent history and we would love for you to join us for some fantastic Key West shark fishing.
