While July was a great month for fishing in Key West, August has surprised everyone with the plethora of fantastic hauls we've seen recently. It's clear that the fish have been biting better than ever as of late, which is compounded by all of the great weather we've been having.

August has been a spectacular month for fishing so far, this past week being a particular highlight. With all of the amazing catches we've seen, it was tough to decide which catch would win this week's award.

This summer has been off to a wonderful start here in Key West in regards to all the fantastic fishing we've seen so far, with much more left to go. It's astonishing how many amazing catches we've experienced on our deep sea and reef fishing charters.

As July gave way to the beginning of August, this past week has proved highly entertaining with all of the remarkable catches we've been seeing. A large number of our boats reported back each day with exciting stories to tell of huge catches.

Within the sprawling waters of Key West, hardly a day goes by without a large number of spectacular catches, as these areas provide some of the best Key West light tackle fishing available.
