Yet again, we've conquered another fantastic February in the Key West fishing department. This week's Key West catch of the week can be viewed as a monster! Take a look for yourself.
Since the winds were blowing from the east on Sunday and Monday, our charter captains have been heading to the south of Key West to the Atlantic side for some Deep Sea fishing in one hundred and twenty to one hundred and eighty feet of water.
With winds blowing heavily out of the southeast recently at thirty knots, our savvy charter Captains have turned their attention to fishing close to Key West on the Gulf of Mexico side for sharks.
If you're thinking about getting yourself out of the cold, then we suggest you escape to Key West, and grab a rod and reel. It's the best way to spend the coldest month of the year, and the best time to catch some fish. Here is the Monthly Fishing Report of February, 2015!
As I wrote on last Friday, King Mackerel fishing on the Gulf side to the north of Key West was great over the weekend. Since the winds were blowing out of the south, our captains headed north to chase King Mackerel using live Blue Runners.
